Job Description:

The Glasgow Marriott is looking for a passionate Housekeeper / Hotel Cleanliness Expert with a keen eye for detail to join our wonderful team. Variety of shifts available, particularly looking for mid-week availability. The Glasgow Marriott Hotel offers welcoming comfort with a modern style, ideally situated in the city centre near premier attractions like OVO Hydro, Hampden Park, and the University of Glasgow.

Job Responsibility:

Replace guest amenities and supplies in rooms
Make beds and fold sheets
Remove trash, dirty linens and room service items
Greet guests and take care of requests
Straighten desk items, furniture and appliances
Dust, polish and remove marks from walls and furnishings
Vacuum carpets and floor care duties

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar hospitality setting preferred
A warm, people-oriented demeanour
A team-first attitude
Positive outlook and outgoing personality
Flexibility, problem-solving skills, and multi-tasking ability
The ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods of time across a work shift
The ability to move and lift up to 25 lbs
Ensuring a professional demeanor, clear communication and appearance in a clean uniform
Completion of safety training and certification prior to employment

Nice to have:
