Job Description:

Temporary role as a Catering Assistant with 2Gether Support Solutions in East Kent Hospitals, including serving food, cleaning equipment, maintaining food safety standards, and operating cash registers in a professional manner.

Job Responsibility:

Provide a courteous and efficient catering service to patients, staff and visitors
Prepare and/or serve food to customers in a professional and courteous manner
Cleaning of catering and service equipment manually and by use of machine to hygiene standards
Assist in the delivery of the function and vending service within time constraints and meeting stated requirements
Operate a cash register and handle cash in a safe and efficient manner
Maintain food safety and hygiene standards in your work area
Ensure all work is carried out in line with Health and Safety, Quality and policies and procedures
Correctly use and take care of all equipment and materials associated with tasks and report faults to a supervisor
Store goods correctly and use stock on a rotational basis
Participate as a full member of the team
Undertake other ad hoc duties as prescribed by manager and within scope of skill and capability

Requirements:

Relevant experience in the same or a relevant role
Eligible to work in the United Kingdom
2 current proofs of address
A Standard DBS certificate (or willingness to undergo one)
Happy to undergo relevant training including clinical and non-clinical along with food hygiene
Access to transport will be an advantage when applying for this role
