Job Description:

The Center Medical Director role at Oak Street Health involves leading the clinical team to provide exceptional patient care, mentoring providers, and implementing strategic initiatives to improve healthcare outcomes.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the clinical team
Practice primary care (80% clinical, 20% administrative)
Mentor, coach, and advise providers
Implement strategic initiatives
Ensure high-quality, evidence-based care
Support care team development
Conduct performance reviews
Foster a positive workplace culture

Requirements:

M.D., D.O., or A.P.N or P.A. graduates
Board certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine required for M.D. or D.O., Board certification in Family, Adult, or Gerontology for A.P.N
Experience in clinical leadership roles
Experience using a metrics-driven approach to the provision of medical care
5+ years of experience in outpatient practice preferred
US work authorization

Nice to have:

Fellowship training in Geriatrics
Other professional degrees (e.g., M.B.A., J.D., M.P.H.)
Prior executive roles
