Job Description:

Our company is a fast-growing business with a strong regional presence across Southeast Asia. We are preparing for an Initial Public Offering (IPO) and are looking for an experienced and highly driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to guide us through this transformative stage. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with the hands-on experience necessary to navigate complex business operations, scale the business, and have the business acumen to drive sustainable growth. Job Responsibility:

  • Lead and oversee all financial aspects of the IPO process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and timely submission of necessary documents
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to support IPO objectives while ensuring strong internal controls and corporate governance
  • Work closely with external advisors (investment banks, auditors, legal teams) to ensure smooth execution of IPO plans
  • Provide leadership in all areas of financial management, including financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting
  • Develop and implement financial strategies to scale operations regionally while driving profitability
  • Partner with the CEO and executive team to shape long-term business strategy and ensure financial goals are aligned with overall business objectives
  • Challenge the status quo and drive innovation by proactively suggesting ways to optimize financial performance, cost management, and growth opportunities
  • Analyze the company’s business performance and develop actionable insights to drive growth and profitability
  • Provide operational support to key departments, helping to scale business operations efficiently and effectively within Southeast Asia
  • Navigate complexities in the business, including financial modeling, data analysis, and resource allocation to ensure smooth scaling across markets
  • Ensure the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and management reports, providing the executive team with critical financial insights
  • Oversee cash flow management, ensuring adequate liquidity for business operations and expansion
  • Establish robust financial processes and systems that ensure transparency, efficiency, and scalability
  • Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, ensuring the right talent and skills are in place to support the business’s growth trajectory
  • Cultivate a culture of continuous improvement within the finance department and drive strong collaboration across business units
  • Act as a mentor to other senior executives, encouraging a growth mindset and fostering an entrepreneurial spirit throughout the organization
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks, both locally and regionally, ensuring the business is well-positioned for growth
  • Assess market dynamics and adjust financial strategies to navigate challenges while maximizing business opportunities
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with current and potential investors, providing regular updates on company performance and growth prospects
  • Build and manage the financial narrative for stakeholders, articulating the company’s long-term value proposition and performance

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Professional qualifications such as CPA, CFA, or MBA are highly desirable
  • Minimum of 10+ years in senior financial management roles, with at least 5 years in a CFO position or similar senior leadership role
  • Proven experience in preparing a company for IPO, including working with legal, financial, and advisory teams
  • Strong hands-on experience in managing financial operations, strategy, and growth in a multi-market, regional business environment
  • Experience in navigating complex business structures, scaling operations, and implementing financial systems
  • Regional experience in Southeast Asia markets is highly preferred
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to understand, analyze, and act on financial data to drive business decisions
  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to challenge and influence senior stakeholders
  • In-depth understanding of corporate finance, financial modeling, and strategic business planning
  • Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, balancing long-term growth with operational efficiency
