Job Description:

Middlesbrough Council's Children's Services is seeking dedicated and experienced Children's Social Workers to join their dynamic Children in Need and Child Protection Teams. Responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing care plans, and collaborating with families and agencies to ensure safety and wellbeing of children.

Job Responsibility:

Conducting comprehensive assessments of children and families
Developing and implementing individualized care plans
Working collaboratively with families, other professionals, and agencies
Providing support and guidance to children and families
Ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and policies
Maintaining accurate records and case files

Requirements:

Social Work Qualification
Social Care England Registration
Updated DBS
Strong assessment and case management skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Commitment to safeguarding children
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
