Job Description:

A reputable regional law firm specializing in civil litigation is currently seeking an experienced Civil Litigation Attorney to join our dynamic legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in civil litigation, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to manage cases from inception through resolution.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all phases of civil litigation, including pleadings, discovery, motions, trial preparation, and trial
Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and provide strategic legal advice to clients
Represent clients in court appearances, depositions, mediations, and arbitration proceedings
Collaborate with clients to develop litigation strategies tailored to their needs and objectives
Negotiate settlements and effectively advocate on behalf of clients
Maintain accurate and organized case files and ensure compliance with all legal and ethical standards

Requirements:

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active bar membership in [relevant state]
3-5 years of experience in civil litigation
Strong knowledge of state and federal civil procedure
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Proven ability to handle multiple cases and deadlines effectively
Strong negotiation, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
Experience in insurance defense, personal injury, product/premise/general liability defense
Trial experience or significant motion practice experience
