Job Description:

Am Law firm seeks Civil Litigation Defense Associate Attorney with 1-7 years of experience for Commercial Litigation Group. Responsibilities include managing all phases of litigation, conducting legal research, handling discovery, taking and defending depositions, and assisting with trial preparation. Billables: 1850/year. Practice areas include business litigation dispute, IP, employment defense of employers, corporate transactional, and real estate.

Job Responsibility:

Managing all phases of litigation, including case strategy and development
Conducting legal research, drafting pleadings, and preparing motions
Handling discovery, including drafting and responding to discovery requests
Taking and defending depositions
Assisting with trial preparation and participating in hearings and trials

Requirements:

2+ years of civil litigation defense experience
Licensed in California
JD from top 150 law school
