Job Description:

We're seeking a compassionate and enthusiastic Classroom Support Assistant to join our dynamic SEN school in Cranleigh, Surrey. The role involves supporting learners with special educational needs in a nurturing and stimulating environment, assisting teachers, and contributing to a positive learning atmosphere. The school offers a unique behavior support model, small class sizes, and personalized attention for students.

Job Responsibility:

Support learners in a variety of classroom settings
Assist the class teacher with daily routines and activities
Create a positive and encouraging environment for learners
Work alongside 1:1 support staff

Requirements:

A valid DBS check
A full driving licence

Nice to have:

Experience working with children with SEN
Personal connection to SEN (such as a family member with special needs)
Patience, caring nature, and enthusiasm for supporting learners
