Job Description:

A forward-thinking and inclusive SEN school in Cranleigh is seeking a passionate and dedicated Classroom Support Assistant to join their friendly and supportive team.

Job Responsibility:

Providing individual and small group support to pupils with a range of learning needs
Assisting teachers with the delivery of lessons and activities
Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
Supporting pupils with their personal care and well-being
Maintaining accurate records and providing feedback to teachers
Contributing to the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs)

Requirements:

A genuine passion for working with children
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Patience, empathy, and resilience
The ability to work effectively as part of a team
A positive and proactive attitude
A willingness to learn and develop new skills
Experience working with children with SEN (desirable)
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification) (desirable)
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle

Nice to have:

Experience working with children with SEN
A relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification)
