Job Description:

An established construction consultancy is seeking a dedicated and team-oriented Clerk of Works to join their collaborative and supportive team in the heart of Liverpool. This family-focused consultancy consists of a close-knit team of 20 professionals, specialising in residential developments, including apartments, houses, extra care facilities, and bungalows.

Job Responsibility:

Review Employers’ Requirements, Contractors’ Proposals, Contract Programmes, drawings, and specifications
Monitor compliance with CDM 2015, Building Regulations, Planning Approvals, and NHBC/Premier requirements
Produce detailed weekly reports on progress and quality
Conduct regular site visits
Participate in Site Progress Meetings
Manage the snagging and defect resolution process

Requirements:

Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle
Excellent communication skills
Thorough understanding of construction methods, regulations, and JCT contracts
Extensive experience as a Clerk of Works on new-build residential projects
Member of ICWCI, CIOB, or equivalent professional body
