Job Description:

This role involves providing education, training, and support to Health Care Professionals and patients in the field of Peritoneal Dialysis, ensuring competence and confidence in the use of Baxter products and therapies. The Clinical Coordinator collaborates with the sales organization, implements patient retention programs, and performs quality home visits for renal patients while maintaining relationships with healthcare providers and team members.

Job Responsibility:

Provides education and training for Health Care Professionals
Plans, prepares, implements and evaluates training sessions to promote competence and confidence in the use of Baxter products and therapies
Provides first line phone and/or on site clinical/technical support/troubleshooting for equipment and products
Plans, prepares, promotes, attends and delivers workshops, seminars and conferences
Keeps accurate records of all educational activities
Provides support for the sales organization
Trains new PD patients on ESRD, RRT and PD products
Implements patients retention programs with the Renal team
Supports quality home visits for renal patients
Develops and enhances relationships with external and internal customers
Tracks updates/news in the field of professional competence
Acts as a trainer and mentor for less experienced Clinical Coordinators

Requirements:

Patient educator experience with knowledge / ability to interpret clinical papers
Strong interpersonal skill
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and presentation skills
Good command of English
Good knowledge of MS Office environment
Nursing education required or other medical equivalent
Experience in the relevant therapeutic area e.g. Renal or Intensive Care
Experience with Customer Relation Management and/or Sales Force Automation tools
Driving license cat B
