Job Description:

We are on the lookout for a proficient Cloud Architect to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. In this role, you will focus on developing and implementing a cloud adoption roadmap, leading cloud migration initiatives, and providing recommendations on cloud technologies. You will also work closely with cybersecurity teams and other departments to design automated and scalable cloud solutions.

Job Responsibility:

Develop a cloud adoption strategy
Lead various cloud migration initiatives
Evaluate and endorse cloud service providers and technologies
Maximize user productivity by enhancing collaboration tools
Implement best practices for identity and access management (IAM)
Ensure compliance with data retention, security, and regulatory requirements
Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to reinforce cloud environments
Develop and enforce policies related to resource provisioning, cost management, access control, and data protection
Act as a trusted advisor to leadership
Collaborate with application, networking, and security teams to design automated and scalable cloud solutions
Educate IT staff on cloud technologies, best practices, and operational efficiencies

Requirements:

Proficiency in Amazon CloudWatch
Extensive knowledge of Amazon EC2
Hands-on experience with Ansible
Familiarity with Atlassian Jira
Ability to implement Auto Scaling
Adept in API Development
Solid understanding of Automation techniques
Mastery of AWS Technologies
Knowledge of Backup Technologies
Experience in Cluster Analysis
