Job Description:

We are in the asset management industry and are located in New York, New York. We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Cloud Security Engineer. In this role, you will work on an array of tasks that involve processing customer applications, maintaining customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. Additionally, you will be tasked with monitoring customer accounts and acting accordingly.

Job Responsibility:

Develop and implement security measures using Amazon CloudWatch and Amazon EC2
Automate processes and tasks with Ansible and PowerShell Scripting
Monitor and analyze network vulnerabilities using Splunk
Use Python for vulnerability analysis and remediation
Manage customer credit applications and records
Respond to and resolve customer inquiries
Implement backup technologies and cluster analysis for data protection
Develop and maintain APIs for improved functionality and security
Utilize CISSP skills to enhance cloud security measures
Use Atlassian Jira for project management and workflow coordination

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in the field of asset management
Proficiency in automation processes
Extensive knowledge of backup technologies
Ability to perform cluster analysis
Proficiency in using Splunk for data analytics
Familiarity with network vulnerability and its mitigation strategies
Ability to identify and manage security vulnerabilities
Experience in vulnerability analysis
Proficiency in Python programming language
Proficiency in PowerShell scripting
CISSP certification is a must
