Are you an experienced CNC Programmer and comfortable programming 5 Axis machinery online and offline? Do you want to work in a challenging, varied, low volume, heavy engineering environment? You can choose your own hours to suit your work life balance as you’ll own that cell area. We are a heavy industrial manufacturer with a global customer base looking to add to our skilled engineering team here in Lincoln. As an experienced CNC Programmer & Setter, we will give you the responsibility for two of our WFL Machines where you’ll play a pivotal role in the function of our workshop where we manufacture our multi throw crankshafts.
Job Responsibility:
Take full control of two of our WFL machines MillTurns (5 axis) working at low volume (batches up to 20) to a high quality
A variety of turning, milling, drilling, boring and V/cuts
Visual and manual inspection as part of our 12-step quality process
Program to highly detailed drawings using Siemens (Sinumerik) software
Work to a tight tolerance i.e. +/- 0.005" – 0.001"
Requirements:
Be apprentice trained NVQ / C&G / ONC / HNC in mechanical engineering or maybe you have been down the degree route
Have online and offline programming experience covering Siemens / Fanuc and other CADCAM Software such as Infusion 360 or SolidWorks etc
Have experience working on 5 axis CNC machines
