Job Description:

We’re hiring a Collection Specialist with German to support our global client. In this role, you’ll manage accounts receivable, reduce overdue balances, and collaborate with international teams to ensure efficient processes. Bring your expertise and language skills to a dynamic environment and make an impact.

Job Responsibility:

Incoming/Outgoing Calls: Proactively engage with customers via phone to chase payments
Account Management: Document account activities, update statuses, handle referrals, and transfer funds as needed
Query Resolution and Escalation: Identify, resolve, and escalate customer queries efficiently
Payment Processing: Follow up on payments received, request remittance details, and provide copy documents
Reporting and Forecasting: Produce collection-related reports and provide payment forecasts
Process Improvement: Participate in projects aimed at enhancing credit management efficiency
Compliance: Ensure adherence to SOX-defined controls and compliance standards

Requirements:

completed studies in finance, accounting, business or related field
very good knowledge of English and German
minimum 1 year of experience in the area of Credit/Collections or Customer Service
knowledge of SAP
very good communication and cooperation skills
detail-oriented and self-motivated
proficient in analyzing financial data
good organizational and time management skills
knowledge of Microsoft Office
strong customer orientation
