Job Description:

Randstad is searching for a Collections Specialist with experience in high volume collections and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role involves client communication, problem-solving, negotiation, and collaboration with other departments. Hybrid work model with afternoon/evening shifts.

Job Responsibility:

Work the queue properly and ensure proper individuals are informed of issues when needed
make sure accounts are followed up on within the proper time frame until final resolution
ensure high-risk accounts are monitored and escalated when needed
gather facts and analyze info on accounts to provide proper solutions
complete paperwork and action items required to process account extensions, rewrites, bailiff assignments, and closures of repossessed accounts
provide support to team members
communicate and work with other departments to resolve matters
work with team leader to improve existing processes and manage the department efficiently
complete internal control audit and monthly reconciliation of reports.

Requirements:

At least three years’ experience with high volume Collections
experience communicating with clients regarding delinquent accounts
preparing and sending collection emails
obtaining information for clients
negotiating payment plans
researching, analyzing and resolving problems
performing account reconciliations
assisting with billing issues
previous experience in Customer Service and Collections
commercial finance experience preferred
strong communication and interpersonal skills
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or equivalent experience in the finance industry.

Nice to have:

Commercial finance experience preferred.
