Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Collections Specialist in the heart of Bloomington, Minnesota. As a Collections Specialist, you will be in an essential role within our finance department, handling key responsibilities related to customer invoice management and account reconciliation in a highly organized and detail-oriented manner.

Job Responsibility:

Manage customer invoices actively and ensure follow-ups on any outstanding ones
Engage with customers to settle overdue accounts and ensure payments are made on time
Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with customers to expedite the resolution of billing issues
Flag accounts that are at risk of delinquency and escalate them appropriately
Conduct thorough reconciliation of customer accounts to ensure all payments, credits, and invoices are recorded accurately
Investigate and resolve any discrepancies between customer records and our internal accounting records
Prepare monthly aging reports to aid in identifying potential collection issues
Utilize Accounting Software Systems, CRM, and Epic Software proficiently for efficient handling of Accounts Receivable (AR), Answering Inbound Calls, Billing Functions, and Claim Administration

Requirements:

Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role as a Collections Specialist
Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
Experience with CRM tools
Familiarity with Epic Software
Extensive knowledge of Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in Answering Inbound Calls
Proficiency in Billing Functions
Experience in Claim Administration
Understanding of Collection Processes
