Job Description:

We are offering a permanent employment opportunity Based in HOLBROOK, New York. We are looking for a Collections Specialist to join our team, where you'll be in charge of managing customer applications, maintaining accurate records, and addressing customer inquiries.

Job Responsibility:

Handle a high volume of collections calls and manage cash receipt reports
Ensure accurate and efficient processing of customer credit applications
Monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions
Keep customer credit records up to date
Manage credit limits and promises to pay
Oversee and maintain Accounts Receivable (AR) operations

Requirements:

Demonstrated experience in Collections, with a strong understanding of collection techniques and strategies
Proficiency in managing credit limits, including setting, reviewing, and adjusting as necessary
Solid experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR), including tracking and resolving outstanding payment issues
Strong negotiation skills to successfully recover outstanding debts
Excellent communication skills to effectively liaise with clients and maintain positive relationships
Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks to meet collection targets
High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all financial documentation
Proficient in using financial software and Microsoft Office Suite
Knowledge of relevant legal requirements and regulations related to debt collection
Strong analytical skills to assess creditworthiness and limit financial risk
Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality and discretion at all times
