Job Description:

To join an established Insurance independent broker in Lancashire to build up and maintain a commercial book of business with support from the Account Handling team.

Job Responsibility:

Ability to generate new leads and win new business
Maintain a book of long-term existing clients
Working to targets and keen eye for attention to detail

Requirements:

5+ years’ experience handling most aspects of Commercial Insurance
An excellent knowledge of the UK general Insurance market
Qualified by examination an advantage but not essential with a proven track record
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build relationships with new clients and maintain those relationships
Good existing relationships, although a proven Commercial Insurance sales track record is always considered
A full UK driving licence

Nice to have:

Cert CII Qualified or a willingness to work towards this
Strong organisational skills
Acturis experience
Great communicator and team player
