Job Description:

We are working with a highly respected insurance brokerage that is looking to add a Commercial Account Handler to its team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals with a background in Personal Lines insurance who are eager to transition into the Commercial sector. You’ll be joining a collaborative environment where your skills and expertise will be valued, and your career will be supported and developed.

Job Responsibility:

Manage a portfolio of commercial clients, ensuring their insurance needs are effectively met
Handle policy administration tasks, including renewals, mid-term adjustments, and claims management
Negotiate with insurers to secure competitive terms for clients
Support the wider team in achieving business targets and delivering exceptional service

Requirements:

Experience working in Personal Lines insurance is essential
A desire to step into a Commercial Insurance role and develop within this sector
Proven experience in delivering excellent client service in a professional setting
Ideally working towards or willing to pursue Cert CII (Certificate in Insurance)
Strong academic background, coupled with excellent IT proficiency (e.g., Microsoft Office)

Nice to have:

Highly organised and detail-oriented
Proactive and solution-focused approach to problem-solving
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment
