Job Description:

Our client is currently searching for a commercial account handler to support the team in managing clients’ insurance requirements, including addressing general inquiries, managing renewals, facilitating mid-term adjustments, obtaining quotes, and handling premium invoicing. With a blend of tasks to add diversity to your week, there will also be chances to participate in new business activities. Job Responsibility:

Support the team in managing clients’ insurance requirements
Addressing general inquiries
Managing renewals
Facilitating mid-term adjustments
Obtaining quotes
Handling premium invoicing
Participating in new business activities

Requirements:

Proficient understanding of the primary classes of General Insurance and familiarity with the CII’s Code of Ethics and GDPR
Minimum of 2 years’ experience working with commercial products
Interest in music would enhance comprehension of the role
Proficiency in technical insurance skills
Strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail
Capability to process tasks promptly and effectively
Skill in prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines
Outstanding client service abilities
Competence in negotiation and brokering
Exceptional verbal and written communication aptitude
Ability to collect and analyse information from clients
Skill in recognising and responding suitably to the client’s level of understanding
Capability to persuade and influence others
GCSE Maths and English (or equivalent)
Cert CII (desirable for this role)

Nice to have:
