Job Description:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Commercial Banking Portfolio Coordinator. This job is responsible for credit portfolio management to meet the long-term financial objectives and risk tolerance for commercial banking clients. Serves as a key member of a client’s deal team.

Job Responsibility:

Review credit information of loans for companies and industries
Respond to customer inquiries, generate status reports for management or bankers and contact available sources of information
Perform moderately complex credit investigations on companies and industries
Receive direction from Commercial Banking Portfolio Management supervisor and escalate noncompliant issues
Ensure credit files are current
Interact with the immediate team and Commercial Banking Portfolio Management functional area to review process of companies for providing credits

Requirements:

2+ years of financial analysis experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Strong accountancy concepts
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Analyze and interpret financial information
Good computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft applications
Good problem solving and analytical skills
Quick learner and ability to adapt to change
Demonstrate good team player qualities
Flexible to work different shifts as per the business requirement
Demonstrates/maintains professional conduct under all circumstances
Strong analytical skills
Eligible candidate must be a Postgraduate or Graduate with Accounting & Commerce Background (Must)
Semi-qualified CPA / CA could be considered for this role (Desired)
Good knowledge of accounting and corporate financial accounting system
Good understanding of financial ratios and knowledge on Moody’s Risk Analytics would be an added advantage
Good knowledge on GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards
Ability to read & interpret financial statements
Consistent performance w.r.t all key deliverables

Nice to have:

Good understanding of financial ratios and knowledge on Moody’s Risk Analytics
Semi-qualified CPA / CA
Good knowledge on GAAP Accounting / International Financial Reporting Standards
