Job Description:

This impressive broking company is looking for a technical broker to join their commercial broking team in Glasgow.

Job Responsibility:

To understand existing client business risks and to administer commercial insurance programmes designed for the protection of the client against these risks
Provide day to day servicing, and administration of allocated clients insurance programmes in a timely, technically accurate and cost effective manner, in accordance with procedures and performance standards
Assist in developing less experienced members of staff by imparting knowledge and expertise
Build strong working relationships with clients and insurers
Working closely with directors, executives, claims and risk management team

Requirements:

minimum 5 years commercial insurance broking experience
Knowledge of Acturis would be preferred
A good knowledge of commercial insurance products including motor, EL, PL, property, commercial combined, etc.
Experienced gained in handling large and/or complex risks
Confident with most classes of commercial insurance risk including property, motor, EL, PL, commercial combined, etc.

Nice to have:

Knowledge of Acturis
