Job Description:

As a Commercial Business Development Representative at Checkr, you will support the Commercial sales team by generating sales pipeline through strategic prospecting efforts and account research. You will play a vital role in creating outbound business pipeline as a foundation for closed-won business and contribute millions to the annual sales pipeline.

Job Responsibility:

  • Generate qualified opportunities through outbound prospecting, calling and emailing
  • Create account penetration plan for book of business
  • Balance inbound engagements or marketing-generated leads using effective time management
  • Demonstrate knowledge of Checkr solutions and value propositions
  • Research prospects and add details to CRM
  • Maintain and improve CRM data quality
  • Multitask and prioritize account lists

Requirements:

  • Quick learner excited to take on challenging projects
  • Collaborative team mentality
  • Ability to self-motivate, prioritize, and manage unstructured time
  • Personable and clear communicator
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and handle change
  • Experience in outbound sales development role preferred
  • Track record of managing outbound pipeline at a SaaS company preferred
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or Sales Navigator preferred
  • Experience creating successful outbound email messaging preferred
  • Consistently meeting or exceeding quota in outbound sales development role preferred

Nice to have:

  • Experience in a world-class outbound sales development role
  • Track record of managing outbound pipeline at a SaaS company
  • Familiarity with sales tools like Salesforce, Outreach, or Sales Navigator
  • Experience creating successful outbound email messaging
