The Project Manager MEA, Kidney Care will oversee and drive strategic commercial projects across the MEA region, including expansion into new markets, optimization of existing operations, and execution of new business models. This role is critical to ensuring the growth and success of Baxter Kidney Care MEA, focusing on strategic distributor relationships, digital transformation, and the expansion of PD & Acute Therapies.
Job Responsibility:
Lead and manage major commercial projects such as Libya, North Africa, South Africa, and Iraq expansions, ensuring alignment with the company’s strategic goals
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budget management
Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring timely and successful delivery of objectives
Utilize and promote the adoption of digital PD products Tools to enhance customer relationship management
Lead digital marketing initiatives to support the expansion of PD & Acute Therapies and increase market penetration
Focus on the expansion of PD & Acute Therapies, identifying major opportunities annually for market or portfolio expansion
Leverage Vantive in the region to optimize product and country portfolios
Manage investments with a focus on high ROI, cost control, and efficient use of digital tools
Work and coordinate with MEA and EMEA Geox teams on the roll-out of Geox projects in the MEA region
Track, launch, implementation, and sales performance of all Geox activities
Foster a 'One Team MEA' culture, working closely with the EMEA team to align strategies and execute projects effectively
Lead and coordinate communication efforts across different channels to ensure transparency and engagement
Act as a liaison between MEA and EMEA teams, ensuring alignment on critical issues and projects
Monitor and report on financial performance, including sales, operating income, and OPEX, ensuring alignment with financial targets for the designated projects
Provide regular updates on project progress and financial performance, highlighting key achievements and areas for improvement
Encourage innovative thinking and the development of new ideas to improve processes and outcomes
Promote a culture of feedback, learning, and continuous improvement within the team
Empower team members through education and training, fostering a learning organization.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Project Management, or a related field
A Master’s degree is preferred
Minimum of 5 to 7 years of experience in project management, particularly in the healthcare or medical devices industry in MEA Region
Proven experience in managing large-scale commercial projects with a significant financial impact
Strong background in distributor management, digital transformation, and market expansion
Excellent leadership and strategic thinking abilities
Strong organizational and project management skills, with attention to detail
Proficiency in project management tools and digital platforms
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to influence stakeholders
Fluent in English
knowledge of additional regional languages is an advantage (French & Arabic)
Willingness to travel within the MEA region.
