Job Description:

Are you a skilled Commercial Underwriter with a keen eye for risk assessment and a passion for Property & Casualty insurance? Our client, a well-established and prominent insurance company, is looking for a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to join their underwriting team.

Job Responsibility:

Achieve team targets by underwriting Property & Casualty products profitably
Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers and clients
Ensure accurate and consistent underwriting of products
Represent the company in broker meetings to secure new clients
Monitor account performance and implement corrective actions when necessary

Requirements:

Demonstrate commercial awareness with strong negotiation skills
Eagerness to learn and challenge existing practices
Ability to understand and anticipate customer and market needs
Proven teamwork and accountability in achieving goals
Expertise in assessing and managing risks effectively
Strong analytical and numerical reasoning skills for practical decision-making in technical underwriting
Experience in mentoring and developing team members
Proficiency in analysing accounts and creating strategic action plans
