Job Description:

A fast-moving, technology-driven law firm is seeking a Compliance Solicitor to support its COLP in ensuring regulatory compliance and overseeing non-qualified staff. Specialising in financial claims, particularly undisclosed commission on car finance agreements, the firm is looking for a candidate with strong regulatory knowledge and experience in risk management.

Job Responsibility:

Assisting the COLP in maintaining compliance with SRA Standards and Regulations
Developing, implementing, and reviewing compliance policies and procedures
Supervising non-qualified staff, conducting audits, and delivering training sessions
Managing conflicts of interest, confidentiality issues, and risk assessments
Ensuring the firm meets regulatory and reporting obligations, including breach registers and compliance reviews

Requirements:

A qualified Solicitor (3+ years PQE) with a strong understanding of regulatory compliance
Experience in risk management, compliance, or regulatory oversight within a law firm
Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
Excellent communication and training skills to support non-qualified staff
Knowledge of data protection legislation (desirable)
