Job Description:

The role involves aseptic production processes, manufacturing Chemotherapy, Antibiotics and Nutritional products for hospitals and patients. Responsibilities include preparing and compounding sterile medications, ensuring safety and quality, and complying with GMP protocols. Candidates are encouraged to apply even without experience, as full training will be provided. The work requires a high attention to detail, adaptability to shift schedules, and a commitment to maintaining safety and efficiency within a cleanroom environment.

Job Responsibility:

  • Picking and preparing raw materials
  • aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions
  • packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products
  • labelling and dispatching of prepared products
  • ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • contribute to Baxter’s full inclusion and diversity culture
  • other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detail
  • willingness to learn new skills
  • adapting to shift work schedules as needed
  • providing assistance in environments with defined procedures and protocols
  • knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • be comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for most of your working day
  • executing repetitive results in a consistent and accurate manner
  • demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
  • communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • experience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing would be an advantage
  • tasks involve manual repetitive handling and dexterity
  • previous manual compounding experience highly regarded
