Job Description:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a special person who is enthusiastic about making a difference and doing something that really matters. In this role, you will be responsible for the aseptic production process—manufacturing chemotherapy, antibiotics, and nutritional products for hospitals and patients. This includes preparing and compounding sterile medications and solutions according to established protocols, ensuring accuracy, safety, and quality. Candidates who are looking to start their career in pharmaceuticals are encouraged to apply as full training will be provided.

Job Responsibility:

  • Picking and preparing raw materials
  • aseptically compounding (mixing) sterile solutions
  • packing of finished units for each order including final inspection of products
  • labelling and dispatching of prepared products
  • ensuring documentation is completed in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP)
  • adhering to Baxter’s Standard Operating Procedures
  • contribute to Baxter’s full inclusion and diversity culture
  • other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Enjoy work that requires a high attention to detail
  • willingness to learn new skills
  • adapting to shift work schedules as needed
  • providing assistance in environments with defined procedures and protocols
  • knowledge of safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe and efficient work environment
  • be comfortable working within a cleanroom environment for most of your working day
  • executing repetitive results in a consistent and accurate manner
  • demonstrate a good understanding of basic mathematics
  • communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
  • experience in pharmacy, manufacturing or warehousing would be an advantage
  • tasks involve manual repetitive handling and dexterity
  • previous manual compounding experience highly regarded
