Job Description:

The Computer Operator role involves supporting the day-to-day IT needs of CVS Health’s new bulk distribution center, including troubleshooting hardware/software issues, maintaining the server room, and assisting warehouse employees with technical difficulties. Job Responsibility:

Acts as a top-level specialist to deliver technical support for the distribution area under limited supervision
executes tasks that may not be routine and are crucial to the progression and completion of technical support requests in a timely manner
defines operations for terminal and computer to release waves, run reports, print reports, distribute modern technology, and respond to customer queries
designs systems to maintain computer room equipment, IT supply inventory, and label management
upkeeping maintenance in server room (temperature checks, tidiness, cable management)
patching Ethernet ports/wall jacks to provide connectivity for designated applications/hardware
assisting all functions within the warehouse with technical difficulties around software/hardware
delivers electronic equipment support and solves ticket issues
assists in supporting network application software downtime and outage response
coaches more junior colleagues in techniques, processes, and responsibilities
completes additional tasks assigned by manager.

Requirements:

Ability to maintain predictable and reliable attendance
willingness to cross-train and perform various functions as required by management
ability to walk, stand, pull, climb, bend, reach, and stoop for an extended period of time
ability to exercise sound judgement and work independently with minimal supervision
good written and verbal communication skills
basic awareness of problem solving and decision-making skills
ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally
basic knowledge and understanding of common computer functionalities
ability to work overtime in emergency situations or have a flexible schedule for coverage as needed
creative mindset when troubleshooting or approaching issues
0-2 years of previous warehouse experience is preferred.
