Job Description:

A well-established and multi-disciplinary professional services group is seeking a Construction Solicitor (3 years’ PQE+) to join their nationally recognised team. With a strong reputation across contentious, non-contentious, Surety, and Building Safety Act matters, the team continues to experience exceptional growth and demand across all areas of its practice.

Job Responsibility:

Advise clients across the private and public sectors including developers, insurers, contractors, housebuilders and construction companies
Work on high-value, complex, and technical construction disputes and projects
TCC litigation, adjudications, contract negotiations, procurement advice and surety matters such as performance and retention bonds

Requirements:

Qualified Solicitor in England & Wales (or equivalent jurisdiction)
Previous experience in a recognised construction law team
Strong commercial awareness and excellent drafting skills
3+ years PQE
Experience across a broad spectrum of construction law, ideally including both contentious and non-contentious matters
Exposure to adjudication, litigation or arbitration processes
Working understanding of JCT, NEC or FIDIC contracts
