Job Description:

Join a globally driven biopharma company and take on a vital role managing contracts that impact key business operations. Based in Tokyo, you’ll collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders to draft, negotiate, and manage contracts that enable our continued success.

Job Responsibility:

Draft initial contracts using company templates
review and negotiate contracts of varying complexity with minimal supervision
ensure contract terms comply with internal policies and SOPs
collaborate with internal teams and subject matter experts during negotiations and decision-making
lead negotiations with external customers, vendors, and third parties
manage the contract lifecycle, including renewals and updates
maintain and develop contract templates and guidance materials

Requirements:

3+ years of experience in contract management, drafting, and review in pharmaceuticals, biotech, or medical devices
strong understanding of legal documents, key contract provisions, and negotiation strategies
bilingual fluency in Japanese and English, with excellent negotiation and communication skills
Bachelor’s degree required
