Job Description:

We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Contracts Manager in the Greater New London Connecticut area. As a Contracts Manager, you will play a key role in managing and coordinating multiple proposals and contracts while interacting with various business functions.

Job Responsibility:

Execute contract negotiations and ensure post-award contract compliance
Develop cost reimbursement contract price proposals in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and DFAR
Assist in the generation of proposals and management of contracts
Collaborate with Contract Administration, Legal, Accounting, and Billing departments for efficient contract management
Oversee subcontracting processes and manage subcontractors effectively
Ensure adherence to government contracts and bid proposal guidelines
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all contracts and proposals

Requirements:

Proficiency in DFARS (Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement)
Comprehensive understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)
Experience in preparing and managing Bid Proposals
Familiarity with Government Contracts and their nuances
Demonstrable expertise in ensuring Contract Compliance
