Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Controller with strong technical accounting expertise, a proven background in financial consolidations, and experience in the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will lead our accounting operations, ensure timely and accurate financial reporting, and provide strategic guidance to support organizational objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Manage the company's accounting operations, including AR, AP, payroll, and general ledger functions
Oversee the preparation and consolidation of financial statements for multiple entities
Handle technical accounting issues, such as revenue recognition, inventory costing, and fixed asset management
Lead the monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes
Support the development and implementation of internal controls, policies, and procedures
Act as a technical accounting resource by researching and resolving complex accounting issues
Analyze and interpret financial data to provide actionable insights and recommendations
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline cost accounting practices
Monitor and manage the organization’s ERP system
Partner with external auditors to facilitate annual audits

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role
Experience in the manufacturing industry
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial consolidations, cost accounting, and technical accounting principles
Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar) and advanced proficiency in Excel
Familiarity with variance analysis, standard costing, and inventory management processes in manufacturing
Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Nice to have:

CPA, CMA, or MBA
Proficiency in financial reporting software and AI-powered analytics platforms
Proven ability to manage large-scale financial operations and improve business processes through automation or system optimization
