Job Description:

The Controller will be responsible for all finance and accounting activities, including A/R, A/P, audit, budgeting, reporting, purchasing, risk management, and human resources. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in accounting and finance, with proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.

Job Responsibility:

Perform accounts receivables and payables
Perform all banking functions including deposits, credit card processing & reconciliations
Process payroll taxes
Prepare general ledger entries
Manage all accounting tasks, including cash and accrual basis financials
Preparation of the annual budget
Prepare documents needed for the 990 and work with the outside tax accountant
Annual audit and work with outside auditor
Prepare fixed assets
Sales Tax reporting

Requirements:

5+ years of experience in a Controller or Accounting Manager role
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance
Proficiency in QuickBooks
CPA is a plus
Minimum of 7 years of experience in a similar role
Proficient in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated experience in Auditing and Month End Close
Competence in managing General Ledger and Accrual Accounting
Proficient in Financial Statement Preparation
Experienced in Cash Management and Cash Forecasting
Skilled in Budgeting and Forecasting
Must be able to manage Monthly Sales Tax
Experience in Risk Analysis is required
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is essential
Knowledge of Benefits Administration is required
Must have experience in managing Payroll for under 100 Employees
