Job Description:

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the digital media and production industry, located in Los Angeles, California. In this role, you will be expected to handle a variety of tasks, including the management of accounts receivable and payable, the preparation of financial statements, and the development of financial strategies to support business growth.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee the accounts receivable and payable
Handle the company's cash flow
Take responsibility for all bookkeeping tasks
Contribute to the management of the company's budget
Assist in the development of corporate strategy
Collaborate with the Chief Operating Officer to prepare financial models
Oversee payroll and benefits administration
Coordinate with external accountants
Conduct strategic reviews of the company's Profit & Loss statement

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years experience in a Controller role or similar capacity
Demonstrated experience with various Accounting Software Systems
Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services is desirable
Proven ability to manage all accounting functions
Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Strong skills in auditing and compliance
Extensive knowledge of budget processes
Experience in financial statement preparation is crucial
Proficiency in managing and maintaining the General Ledger

Nice to have:

Prior experience with ADP - Financial Services
