Job Description:

The Controller plans and directs all accounting operational functions, manages the accumulation and consolidation of financial data for internal and external financial statements, analyzes accounting and internal control systems, and guides departmental staff.

Job Responsibility:

Manage all financial aspects of the company, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
Oversee and review the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles and regulations
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve efficiency and control
Monitor cash flow, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure financial stability
Coordinate with external auditors and tax advisors to ensure timely and accurate tax filings and audits
Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings and revenue growth
Prepare detailed financial reports for management, highlighting key performance indicators and financial metrics
Collaborate with other departments to support business operations and strategic initiatives
Provide financial guidance and support to senior management and other stakeholders

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education
CPA preferred
7+ years experience
3+ Accounting oversight/management
Working with external CPA on audit and growth
Experience in construction, engineering, manufacturing, material supply distribution
Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy
Team player with strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
