Job Description:

We are seeking to add a key member to the Finance group. As their Controller, you will work closely with a team of six, as well as the investment and operations teams within the firm. The firm conducts all accounting in-house, which presents challenges but also opportunities. We are seeking someone who is systems-savvy and an efficiency operator. Valuation may also be part of your responsibilities—you will have an opportunity to partner with portfolio analytics and the investment team. Prior valuation experience is not required. The finance team is relatively new but is composed of exceptional individuals with proven track records of success, skill, and adaptability. Job Responsibility:

Work closely with a team of six, as well as the investment and operations teams within the firm
Well-versed in the full lifecycle of the fund, from initial capital deployments to successful exits and distributions to investors and the management company
Conduct all accounting in-house
Valuation may also be part of your responsibilities—you will have an opportunity to partner with portfolio analytics and the investment team

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
a Master’s degree or CPA is a plus
10+ years of experience in public accounting & private accounting, or fund administration services with a focus on investment partnerships
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and general accounting software
experience with tools such as Efront/Einvest and Investment Café is a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Possess a strong sense of ownership, accountability, and team mentorship
Problem-solving mindset paired with a curiosity to learn and grow
Ability to manage multiple priorities and complete projects in a timely manner

Nice to have:

Master’s degree or CPA
experience with tools such as Efront/Einvest and Investment Café
