Job Description:

The chosen candidate will be an essential part of our team, overseeing accounting operations and contributing to our ongoing success.

Job Responsibility:

  • Oversee and enhance accounting operations, including general ledger activities, payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable
  • Prepare financial statements, forecasts, and budgets with accuracy and timeliness
  • Ensure all company policies and regulatory standards are complied with
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to create financial strategies and support business decisions
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing accounting team
  • Oversee financial audits and ensure all records and processes are in accordance with best practices
  • Identify and implement process improvements to streamline operations and improve efficiency
  • Leverage auditing and budget processes skills to maintain financial health and stability
  • Manage month-end close processes and ensure timely completion
  • Use strong technical accounting skills and proficiency with accounting software

Requirements:

  • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role, or similar financial management position
  • Demonstrated proficiency in auditing, with the ability to identify discrepancies and areas for improvement
  • Strong understanding and experience with budget processes, including preparation, review, and implementation
  • Ability to manage the month-end close process efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide effective solutions
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to manage and guide a team effectively
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration with various departments
  • Proficiency in using financial software and databases, ensuring efficient and accurate data management
  • A bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is required, with a master's degree or any relevant certifications being a plus
  • Proactive and organized, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
