Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Controller in the manufacturing industry, located in the Stanislaus County. In this role, you will be supervising various accounting and administrative tasks, ensuring the financial close process and procedures comply with corporate policies, and developing accurate financial statements.

Job Responsibility:

Supervision and direction of accounts payable, vehicle, parts, service & warranty accounts receivable, and administrative tasks within the accounting department
Assisting with the training and development of staff to ensure smooth operations in the Accounting Department
Overseeing the financial close process and procedures, verifying that general ledger entries and account reconciliations align with corporate policies and procedures
Generation of accurate financial statements for each financial period and ensuring timely distribution to management and corporate
Providing management with detailed summaries of financial results, including an analysis of historical trends
Ensuring that financial transactions and reporting comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles, regulatory requirements, and corporate policies and procedures

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role within the manufacturing industry
In-depth knowledge of Accounting Software Systems
Comprehensive understanding and ability to perform all Accounting Functions
Proven experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Demonstrated ability in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
Experience in conducting Auditing
Proficient in managing Budget Processes
