Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in the healthcare / manufacturing industry for a Controller, based in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will be overseeing all accounting operations, including the general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, and payroll. You will be leading the preparation of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP, and driving the budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all accounting operations, including accounts payable/receivable and payroll
Ensure the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely financial statements in compliance with GAAP
Lead debt compliance reporting and audit coordination
Drive budgeting and forecasting processes to support strategic decision-making
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and proactively manage tax planning and reporting
Supervise and mentor a team of accounting and finance professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment
Evaluate team performance and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
Delegate tasks effectively to ensure smooth day-to-day operations and adherence to deadlines
Spearhead the implementation and optimization of ERP systems to improve financial processes and reporting
Develop and implement robust internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance operational efficiency
Oversee and manage payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance
Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, operations, and service teams to align financial goals with organizational objectives

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role
Demonstrated expertise in the Healthcare and/or Manufacturing industries
Proficiency in Manufacturing Cost Accounting
Solid understanding of GAAP Accounting principles
Experience with implementation of financial systems and processes
Knowledge of API - Application Programming Interface
Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of managing teams
Must hold a CPA designation
Proficiency in managing General Ledger
Ability to prepare comprehensive financial statements
Experience with Full Cycle Payroll
Proficient in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Familiarity with Monthly Close Processes
Experience in Debt Compliance
Proficiency in budgeting and forecasting
Experience with NetSuite and/or Sage Accounting Software
Prior experience in Public Accounting
