Job Description:

Seeking a Controller to join the team in Temecula, California. Responsible for strategic financial management, including accounting, forecasting, strategic planning, deal negotiations, and team supervision.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all aspects of accounting functions, including accounts payable and accounts receivable
Supervise a team of 4, that includes AR, AP, Grower Accountant, and Sr. Accountant
Ensure compliance with GAAP principles and oversee auditing processes
Utilize Sage 300 software for various accounting-related tasks
Manage budget processes and perform financial forecasting
Handle month-end close in a timely and efficient manner
Oversee financial operations of multiple entities within the company structure
Resolve customer inquiries and maintain accurate customer credit records
Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency
Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary

Requirements:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Controller role or similar position
Proficient in all areas of accounting functions
Demonstrated experience with Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Strong knowledge and experience in auditing
Expertise in budget processes and planning
Proficiency in using Sage 300 accounting software
Comprehensive understanding of US GAAP
Experience in executing month-end close processes
Ability to manage financials across multiple entities
Proven experience in a supervisory role, leading a team
