Job Description:

The role involves managing financial operations, providing detailed financial analyses, and overseeing the accounting department, among other responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

Provide comprehensive financial analyses and reports for better insights into the company's performance
Manage all aspects of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
Develop and sustain mechanisms for tracking both revenues and expenses to ensure accurate reporting
Establish a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure, keeping in line with the company's operational needs
Review revenue cycle metrics regularly to identify and address issues that could affect performance
Ensure the company complies with local and federal regulations, and manage all required reporting
Oversee the creation of annual budgets and forecasts, offering financial guidance to relevant teams
Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with debt covenants
Manage the Accounting department, Office Manager, and HR department, coordinating with other managers as necessary
Oversee the company's accounting system, ensuring its continuous maintenance and improvement
Liaise with external firms such as accounting, financial, bonding, insurance, and retirement to negotiate best deals for the company
Investigate, recommend, and implement efficient technologies and tools to improve overall efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar within the Construction industry
Demonstrated proficiency in the Financial Close Process
Experience in creating and managing Cash Flow Forecasts
Strong skills in Financial Analysis
Proven experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
CPA certification is a plus
