Job Description:

The role involves managing financial operations, providing detailed financial analyses, and overseeing the accounting department, among other responsibilities.

Job Responsibility:

  • Provide comprehensive financial analyses and reports for better insights into the company's performance
  • Manage all aspects of accounting functions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll
  • Develop and sustain mechanisms for tracking both revenues and expenses to ensure accurate reporting
  • Establish a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting structure, keeping in line with the company's operational needs
  • Review revenue cycle metrics regularly to identify and address issues that could affect performance
  • Ensure the company complies with local and federal regulations, and manage all required reporting
  • Oversee the creation of annual budgets and forecasts, offering financial guidance to relevant teams
  • Monitor debt levels and ensure compliance with debt covenants
  • Manage the Accounting department, Office Manager, and HR department, coordinating with other managers as necessary
  • Oversee the company's accounting system, ensuring its continuous maintenance and improvement
  • Liaise with external firms such as accounting, financial, bonding, insurance, and retirement to negotiate best deals for the company
  • Investigate, recommend, and implement efficient technologies and tools to improve overall efficiency and productivity

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in a Controller role or similar within the Construction industry
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the Financial Close Process
  • Experience in creating and managing Cash Flow Forecasts
  • Strong skills in Financial Analysis
  • Proven experience in Budgeting and Forecasting
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field (preferred)
  • CPA certification is a plus
