Job Description:

As a Controller, your primary role involves managing all aspects of accounting and financial management, including regulatory compliance and team leadership. This role offers an exciting opportunity to exercise your skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Job Responsibility:

Guiding financial decisions by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing policies and procedures
Protecting assets by establishing, monitoring, and enforcing internal controls
Monitoring and confirming financial condition by conducting audits and providing information to external auditors
Maximizing return and limiting risk on cash by minimizing bank balances and making investments
Preparing budgets by establishing schedules
collecting, analyzing, and consolidating financial data
recommending plans
Achieving budget objectives by scheduling expenditures
analyzing variances
initiating corrective actions
Providing status of financial condition by collecting, interpreting, and reporting financial data
Complying with federal, state, and local legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, anticipating future legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, filing financial reports, and advising management on needed actions
Maintaining detail oriented and technical knowledge

Requirements:

Bachelor degree in accounting or finance but prefer Master degree
CPA license preferred
Must possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience in a Controller role or similar
Experience with Accounting Software Systems is mandatory
Must be familiar with ADP - Financial Services
Must be well-versed in Accounting Functions
Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is required
Experience in managing Accounts Receivable (AR) is necessary
Familiarity with Auditing processes is expected
Must be proficient in managing Budget Processes
