Job Description:

The Controller will hold a critical leadership role responsible for overseeing financial operations, ensuring the accuracy of accounting processes, and providing strategic insights to support organizational growth. This position requires a strong ability to build cross-functional relationships, streamline financial systems, and translate complex data into actionable strategies. The Controller will lead accounting and financial reporting functions, mentor and manage a team, and collaborate with senior leadership to guide decision-making and achieve long-term business objectives.

Job Responsibility:

Accurately supervise general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, and payroll activities
Develop and mentor a team, delegating daily departmental tasks
Provide timely, and accurate financial information to support business decision-making
Direct all general accounting functions, including the monthly general ledger and financial closing processes
Prepare and deliver internal management reporting
Play a leading role in the financial analysis and due diligence processes
Actively participate in strategic planning and execution, providing financial insights and recommendations to the executive team
Explore and recommend opportunities for process improvement
Lead ad hoc finance projects as necessary

Requirements:

8+ years of progressive experience as a Controller in a multi-operational environment
Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance required
MBA or CPA is preferred
Demonstrated success in managing and mentoring teams
Strong understanding of US GAAP and the ability to meet time-sensitive deadlines
Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
