Job Description:

We are offering an exciting opportunity in Orlando, Florida for a Controller to lead and manage the accounting and finance function of our team. This role will entail detailed involvement in financial forecasting, budgeting, and reporting to support the business plan. The successful candidate will also work collaboratively on system switches and manage a small team of accountants.

Job Responsibility:

Lead the accounting and finance function within the company
Prepare financial reports and offer insights on long-term business and financial planning
Manage the process of financial forecasting and budgeting in line with the business plan
Regularly inform the CEO about the variance analysis between actuals and budgets/forecasts
Collaborate with the senior leadership team to create an annual business plan and prioritize other company initiatives
Review all formal finance, accounting procedures and suggest improvements
Engage with external auditors and ownership outside CFO
Participate as a team member on systems switches, both as a leader for your area and as a collaborative partner for other departments
Manage monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities
Manage a small team of accountants
Be prepared for occasional travel as directed by management, including potential international travel

Requirements:

Proficiency in using Sage Intacct software
Bachelor's in Accounting or Finance required
Demonstrated ability in managing Accounts Receivable (AR)
Extensive knowledge in Auditing procedures
Experience in managing Budget Processes
Familiarity with the Salesforce Platform
At least 2 years of experience with Salesforce CRM
At least 5 years of experience with Intacct (Sage) accounting program
Experience in deferred revenue and software accounting practices
