Job Description:

We are seeking a Controller to join our client's team in Orangeburg, South Carolina. The successful candidate will have proven experience within the construction industry, overseeing day to day financial operations, conducting month-end financial reviews and utilizing an ERP software for optimal financial management. Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all day-to-day accounting functions
Conduct comprehensive month-end financial reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance
Operate and manage foundation software for financial operations, integrating it effectively with other systems
Draw on construction industry experience to make informed financial decisions and strategies
Oversee and manage Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) activities
Conduct regular auditing of financial data and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance

Requirements:

Proven experience within the construction industry
Oversee day to day financial operations
Conduct month-end financial reviews
Utilize an ERP software for optimal financial management
Minimum of 7 years of progressive accounting experience
At least 2 years of supervisory experience
Proficiency in ERP systems + Microsoft Excel
Demonstrated knowledge in Accounting Functions, Accounts Payable (AP), and Accounts Receivable (AR)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities
Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
