Job Description:

We are in search of a Controller to join our team in the construction and contracting industry. Based in Houston, Texas, this role involves managing various accounting functions, utilizing different accounting software systems, and overseeing financial services.

Job Responsibility:

Managing the effective use of accounting software systems such as 3M, CRM, and Crystal Reports
Ensuring all accounting functions, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), are carried out efficiently
Overseeing the auditing process to ensure accuracy and compliance
Utilizing ADP - Financial Services for managing and processing financial data
Conducting budget processes for the organization, ensuring financial efficiency and sustainability
Using the percentage (%) of completion method to track project progress and financial status
Ensuring all financial reports and records are accurate and up-to-date

Requirements:

Proven experience in the Construction/Contractor industry
Proficiency in 3M
Expertise in using Accounting Software Systems
Experience with ADP - Financial Services
Competency in CRM
Familiarity with Crystal Reports
Comprehensive understanding of Accounting Functions
Proficiency in managing Accounts Payable (AP)
Experience in handling Accounts Receivable (AR)
Demonstrated knowledge in Auditing
Familiarity with Budget Processes
Understanding of percentage (%) of completion method
