Job Description:

The Controller will play a crucial role in overseeing financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, and maintaining the financial health of the organization.

Job Responsibility:

Oversee and manage all financial operations within the organization
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial legal requirements
Maintain the company's financial health by analyzing and presenting key financial data
Collaborate with other departments to strategize and plan the company's financial future
Use CPA skills to ensure financial reports and records are accurate and reliable
Identify and resolve financial discrepancies promptly
Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to improve operational efficiency
Prepare and present financial reports to the management team
Participate in financial audits and collaborate with auditing services to ensure proper compliance
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations

Requirements:

Must possess a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
Strong proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet programs
Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the same industry
Excellent understanding of data analysis and forecasting methods
Profound knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Demonstrated ability to manage a team, providing direction and motivation
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
Proven ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
High level of integrity and trustworthiness
Ability to make sound decisions under pressure
