Job Description:

The Controller will be the exclusive financial individual within the team, responsible for managing all financial operations.

Job Responsibility:

Maintain Tabs3
Review and process client invoices through Tabs3
Maintain IOLTA accounts
Oversight and review of all general ledger transactions
Oversight of the 1099 process
Cash management including deposits, cash flow budget and projections
Bank reconciliations
Payroll processing
Manage the monthly and annual financial review including assisting in the development and monitoring of the revenue and expense budgets
Identify, own and manage projects and systems that introduce and improve processes used by the Legal team. Coordinate with law firm administrator
Liaison with outside CPA

Requirements:

5+ years of hands on accounting experience
Law firm is ideal, but must have some Professional Services experience (billable hours)
Can work well with all levels of the organization
Experience with Tabs3 or similar software preferred

Nice to have:

Experience with Tabs3 or similar software preferred
